I am not a runner but a walker. I have always used New Balance and Hoka. Today I did my first 12 km with the Xtep and, although they are not comparable with the shoes I have always used, I must say that I am very satisfied. Considering that the most expensive shoes cost 4 times more than these, I believe that the cost/quality ratio is really excellent. I don't know if they will last 2000 km but I just need them to last at least half as long, that is, a thousand like the others used to last, which unfortunately, doing more than 300 km a month, I had to change them after 3/4 months. I think that for a heavy walker like me they could be excellent because they are cushioned but not too much.
